Originally titled "Evening Street Brawl" before CocaColaAddict42 told me this is actually a hillbilly song. So now it's called Moonshine.

instruments: flute, banjo, dulcimer, percussion, tenor saxophone, trombone, guitar, cello

  • Personally, my opinion as a trombone player, i wouldn't like to play this song, it sounds so good, yet i have like the worst and most unexciting part, and barely any at all. Just my opinion, if I was writing, I'd try to include them more at the beginning and give them a bit more of the rhythm, coz it gets so exciting at some parts and their just playing chords with the other section. Just my 2 cents, when I'm playing I like to make noise and move the slide a bit more :)

  • @zanesmith666 My apologies. It's actually that the software itself has a very terrible trombone playback, and so when I was writing for it, I could barely hear any difference between me writing a boring or an interesting passage, it would sound the same. Of course, it also means I wrote this based on how it would sound on a youtube video, rather than a live performance.

  • Ooooh! A JAZZY ONE! This sounds really good and it has a good blend of instruments. Good job! *****

  • I'm not sure, but it sounds jazzy to me. If you look in Wikipedia, under "List of jazz musicians", and scroll down all the way to the bottom of the page, there is a list of all the different genre of jazz. If you are interested in finding out what jazz is, look up each of the musicians here on YouTube and hear what they did. One that is not mentioned, though, is Stan Getz, so look him up too.

  • Love your stuff! Keep up the good work :)

Oh, I'm fine. I just had to leave and needed to comment rather quickly.

I like it. It fits...it's sounds like something that would be in an old detective movie.

  • Cool combination of instruments; I like the tenor and flute duo. It has a sort of chant feel to it as well. Maybe call it "Afternoon Chant," or "A Rogue's Day."
