Lymington Community Christmas 2009

Putting up the Christmas Lights in Lymington takes over 450 people hours of work each year. The volunteers are all part of the Friends of Lymington network. There are over 10,000 lights as part of the display bringing pleasure and happiness to everyone for over 5 weeks. There were over 10,000 people watching the parade, switch on and fireworks. Each string of LED lights uses 90% less power than a normal bulb and are three times brighter. We still have to raise sufficient funds in order to secure the future of the Lymington Lights.
