I got this antique steam engine from Ralph Tomlinson when I left California as a gift. Ralph owns one of the largest collections of toys and engines that I have ever seen. They are on display at the Thomlinson Collection, in Newport Beach, Ca.
Here I show it run, and explain how it works. Hope you enjoy it.

  • Oh, an electric toy that plugs into the wall that leaks water.

Guess the consumer products safety commission didnt exist back then.

The red paint is probably lead based too.

I miss the good old days when dangerous toys were allowed.

Have you seen a modern chemistry set? It totally sucks ass!

  • does anyone know how i could make one of these somewhat easily or get plans to make a homemade one?

  • very interesting

  • Annoying noise in the back ground spoils it...

  • Batman? nope!

  • aww you didnt blow the whistle through the whole video...

  • @roy1tello these engines are at some point powered by an external heat source and steam engines are external combustion which is less efficient than an internal combustion engine engine and therfore more harmful for the environment. because with steam engines it takes "more to get less" if you know what i mean

  • why we don´t use this again is better for the earth!!!!

  • why we don´t used this again i think is better for the earth!!!!
