This weekend, college sports channel ESPNU will feature the 2009 ICSA/GILL Co-ed National Dinghy Sailing Championship won by St. Mary's College of Maryland (SMCM) when it took place at the St. Francis Yacht Club in San Francisco on June 3. The race dates back to 1937. Airing on ESPNU Saturday, June 20, at 3 p.m., onboard cameras and microphones will highlight the action of 123 young sailors from the most competitive schools in the nation. On the final day of racing, the two front-runners, SMCM and Yale University, were separated by just seven points with eight races left to sail. Other colleges competing included Georgetown University, Old Dominion University, Boston College, and the U.S. Naval Academy.

Among the commentators appearing in the broadcast will be sailing champion Paul Cayard, who talks about all aspects of the sport with host Gary Jobson, a noted sailing commentator and SMCM board of trustee member.
