This was a 'just for fun' in class study, choreographed by Maia Claire Garrison in collaboration with Sarah Lawrence College dance students. Spring Semester 2008

Students had very little training in this particular style of dance that fuses elements of traditional West African, Caribbean and Contemporary Modern. Even so, they gave it their all and were very dedicated to the creative process. Our drummer Jerome Morris was supportive through out and inspired us all with uplifting sounds :)

Dancers: Susana Raquel Berger, Lashon A. Daley, Sadye Harvey, Joya Mia Italiano, Romana Linkova, Emma Sterling Wiseman.
