They were born at only 23.5 weeks gesttaion, and against all odds survived and are living happy lives with their father and I at home. Thank you all for your kind words about this video. I have been wanting to do an update video for a long time! Serena and Edwin are now almost 4 1/2 years old and doing well. Both still have residual effects from being born so prematurely, but they are very happy and very loved! I will try and update with a video soon so you can see how much they've grown! Thanks again for all of your kind

Beautiful........brought me to tears. My daughter is pregnant with twins now.......only 11 weeks, but they are loved already! You had amazing strength to help your little ones get thru all they did!! God Bless your family.........Serena and Edwin are beautiful!!!

@23wktwinsmommy: Hey. :) I went to check out your blog, but it's by invitation only? I found you by Google searching "premature twins 23 weeks" ... because a close friend's brother and his girlfriend are now going through the same thing, their 1-lb babies were born earlier this week. Thank you so much for posting this, it gives me hope for them. Can I ask what kind of residual effects you are talking about?

You really just made me cry! I swear its crazy n only god himself could make babies but imagine what he does to make them survive all that ?! It's so cute how chubby they look now! Wow! My two boys Anthony n angel were born at normal weight n gestation so I can't imagine what your heart felt going through that I can only say I think it would make you guys that stronger god bless!
