I've managed to hurt myself before, I didn't consider any of this and my hands really ached and had pain sometimes, I just ignored it till I started getting clicks just by moving my thumb in a certain way. I'm thinking it will still do this for now.
Do you have any advice for me? I really want to get super good at piano, but I am really quite worried about the past of my hands. They mainly hurt in the knuckles and ache in the fingers joints, mainly the middle one. It hasn't happened recently.

Well done series showing well accepted principles of playing and body use espoused by such respected pedagogoues as Matthay, Dorothy Taubman, Barbara Lister-Sink, the Paige Welness Seminars, Seymour Fink, Catherine Rollins and others with a mix of Alexander Techniques. I will recommend this series to my piano students. They are always amazed to see/hear someone else telling them what I have been saying. It's a bonus that the students can view them as often as needed. Thank you.
great lessons, i'm glad you are not like other teachers who throw one in at the deep end with notation, playing, etc without any teaching of anatomy
