Sign the petition to Governor Rick Perry and the State of Texas to acknowledge that the fire in the Cameron Todd Willingham case was not arson, therefore no crime was committed and on February 17, 2004, Texas executed an innocent man.

Aired Sept 17, 2009

Shout this name from the rooftops, Todd Willingham. He was innocent and Texas killed him. U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, in 2006, wrote that, in the modern judicial system there has not been a single casenot onein which it is clear that a person was executed for a crime he did not commit. If such an event had occurred in recent years, we would not have to hunt for it; the innocents name would be shouted from the rooftops.

Todd Willingham was executed for arson/murder on February 17, 2004. He professed his innocence from his arrest until he was strapped down on the execution gurney. Now, we know for certain that he was telling the truth. On August 25, 2009, Dr Craig Beyler, the investigator hired by the Texas Forensic Science Commission to review the Willingham case, released his report in which he found that a finding of arson could not be sustained by a scientific analysis. He concluded that the fire in the Willingham case was accidental and not arson. In fact, there was no arson, so there was no crime. Texas executed an innocent person. The proven execution of an innocent person should mean the end of the death penalty in the United States.

  • Look at your stinking system called Texas, you killed a innocent man a human-being once again all you Fallen ETs RH negative Monkeys=sub species "Whites"; with your eternal lies going down with your piss smelling weapons of mass destruction; Cowards you can go into underground hiding and you will be swallow up down by flames with no escape that equals Judgements by EHYEH ASAH EHYEH on all that wicked ass so called white races that has killed rape and enslaved the Human Race called JUDAH on EARTH

  • rick perry should be falsely convicted and put to death

  • Sign a petition to urge that he was innocent or the arson evidence shows that it might not have been arson? Remember, the leading arson investigators reviews photos and video and did not review the scene. But one fact is that Willingham was out laughing and drinking the next night. I'm not saying he is guilty or innocent, I'm just asking everyone to think of all the evidence and not jump to conclusions. Also, the US Supreme Court looked at this case more than once. They denied Willingham.

  • ;Watch the movie and listen to Perry, the one that wants to be our president, he did not care the fire was NOT arson, he said well this was a bad man so he deserved to die, who cares if he set the fire. Slimeball big time keep him OUT of our white house.

  • @organboi Ask yourself if Cosmic Law punishes the rebels in Sudan. Then ask yourself if you rather live in the US or Somalia. If you think your government is bad Somalia doesn't even have a government, just pirates!

Okay so Todd didn't deserve to die, but you're that bent out of shape for a guy convicted of several crimes and beating women? You have your priorities mixed up, fighting "the good war" when the bad one doesn't exist. Not here anyway, and nowhere near your computer room.

  • SHOCKING. Read the New Yorker article and you'll never be the same again. Expect to cry for days on end. We are living in the dark ages, and no one is safe with our insane justice system. RIP Todd Willingham, Steven Woods, Troy Davis, and others. We will never forget you. The evil doers will be punished by Cosmic Law. Rest assured. And you will be rewarded.

  • hey dan you got ballls. i like it!!!!

  • i swear i could barely make out what the investigator said, did they hire some old drunk off the street?!

  • And Perry now wants to be President. This man is a joke and should be executed himself.

  • old people are always stuck in there ways.then u add in a Governor that worries about getting re elected then giving a stay of execution.the people say hes a bad dude cuz of the music he listens to and that he hit his wife, most relationships theres physical fighting all the time, she could have lied about him beating her or make it seem worse then it was tons of girls do. how the governor could say no to the stay of execution after being told there's new evidence is a joke.
