Yes. If you live for pleasure, you are unlikely to find it. If you live for the right things, you will likely find them and pleasure thrown in.

If you find value in the "right things", then you understand my meaning of enjoyment.

Why is living for pleasures like a good meal, good company or a good book, etc. unlikely to be found? These are often defined as simple pleasures and is achievable everyday.

I probably agree with you more than I disagree, but my objection was to your phrasing: "living for pleasure." To live for something is to devote yourself to it, to be infatuated with it, to fight for it. It is fine to enjoy pleasure (who doesn't), but it is not worth living for: there are greater things.

Great speech, I'm actually typing this message on a mac right now haha.

I really hope I can find something I love to do in life. Sometimes you think you're going down the right path but sometimes it hits you that what you're studying isn't what you really want.

I agree with Steve that you should never stop looking for what you love to do, you're going to do it for the rest of your life so you might as well like it at least :P
