This Is Round 3 of 3 - SHE DID IT! In this 4th fight "Cobra" took the championship. It was very exciting and a good Fight Night Indeed. At that age showing composer in the ring and throwing combinations is more then I see from a lot of adults and self-proclaimed experts.

Thank you for you comments of support, she has worked very hard, and done well ending 2007 with a National Title Belt. It is the top two videos, one is pre-fight warm up and the other is the actual bout which was on Nov. 3rd. We have bigger things in store for 2008.- Thanks Again- TMS & Cobra Too!

One thing you might want to improve on is her cover when she kicks. You can see how her cover opens when she throws that kick at 24-25 seconds in round three. An open invitation to every opponent who's swift and sharp enough to use it. It also happened several times in the first 2 rounds. Keep that cover closed.

DrMabuse, you are correct this is one of the areas we are working on. We just had a fight 8-4, a sanctioned fight at a higher level. I am going to post it only for review. She has improved with every fight and works incredibly hard. It is all one can ask, the rest is continued work and experience. At her current level the problem you mention is one of the most common. My first priority in this last fight was movement; it is a much different fight, much faster, against a 21 year old female. TMS

Friends, give us a break in the ratings and comments,"Cobra" is 14 yrs old this is her 4th"Real" Kickboxing match, the next match has been made for August,she will be going places.I thought it would be cool(and intresting)to allow others to share this process of "coming up" with visuals. Note also that all of her sparring is/has full contact as well, and she does have knock-out power, she is 5'8" 128 lbs of muscle. Positive or helpful advice and commentary is both welcome and encouraged-TMS

Thank you Rick, you're correct she is getting stronger and now that we have added weight training to her regime I expect her punching power, stamina and speed to all get better. We trained hard for this fight, she could go 10 rds when she would be doing 3-2-min. rounds. It paid off as you may notice she never even takes a stool for the fight. However, your right about the competition, her main trainer is very conservative in that regard and is carefully grooming her for the future. Thanks-TMS
