  • I worked for WellPoint. Also Blue Cross and Kaiser.

Anyone who thinks insurance companies care about you is kidding themselves. They refer to their customers as "losses" every time they have to pay a claim. They literally believe they are entitled to your premiums without having to cover you for anything.

Whoever doesn't support competition for them, deserves exactly what they will do to you down the road.

I know; I'm the guy that used to send out your "letter of denial"....

  • Just because they want it doesn't mean they get it. There are many politicians who would love to end it NOW, pay out all the remaining obligations while taking on non-further. That's fair. But to say just because they want it, we can run our currency into the ground, doesn't make any sort of logical sense. And since you believe it *is* logical, I'm wasting a ton of keystrokes addressing a numbskull.

  • Then why won't any politician vote to end it? Because every old person in the US gets their panties in a bunch when you threaten to take it away... because they want it... your point?

  • $70 trillion to be exact (when including future unpaid obligations)

  • And broke. Point?

  • they were going to raise rates anyway.

  • And one trillion is from iraq.

  • they were all inviting to the table and all had talks about directions to go for this, and to my knowledge the HMO's weren't against it from the get go, since it does drive their business, its just the restriction they are fighting against

  • There is no amount of profit and government money we can give to the insurance industry that they won't want more.

  • Rush, Beck, or both?
