  • Will this work well for an exposed mix?

  • @coolsax64

    Sure!

An "exposed aggregate" is just has a mixture of "pea gravel" or small rond stones added to the concrete mix. After the concrete is fairly well set the excess cement and sand is removed via a brush or light water sprayed on the surface, exposing the stone or rock surface.

    Thanks for asking.

    Robert Dunlap

  • Certainly!

The Reusable Concrete Mixing Bag was designed for use with concrete mix. It can be used with 80lb, 60lb or 40lb bags of dry "ready mix" concrete. The helpful hints chart printed on the Mixing Bag shows the amount of water needed based on the size of bag you are mixing.

  • Looks like it has a slump greater than 5 inches. I'd be curious as to what the final test PSI of that mix is. Too much water weakens the concrete. Have you done independent tests on the concrete mixes using the amount of water you suggest on the bags? Where can we see that test data?

  • @AsktheBuilder

Tim, Thanks for watching the video. As you know when it comes to the "amount of water" needed to completely mix a bag of concrete, even the ready mix concrete manufacurers like Quikrete and Sakrete don't know the exact amount. Their bags say "add approximately 3/4 of a gallon" and "add water until you have a concrete consistency". So in our "Helpful Hints" chart, we give a range as a guide, with "Ideal" in the middle and "Dry Mix" on one side and "Wet Mix" on the other.

  • I'd PAY her to choke the life out of my worthless self.

  • This is so dumb

  • @doormaker2. Ultimate great question. I bet that it will be long before you receive and answer, if at all.

  • Should she be wear long pants and a long sleeve shirt when working with concrete?

Although I like her white socks.

  • How easy it this bag to clean and re-use? Do you wait for the old concrete to dry and scrape it off? Or do you rinse it?

  • get back in the kitchen dammit

  • A really nice demo and great for mixing small quantities that it's not worth using a mixer for. Is it available in the UK?

  • Nice Tan Baby Girl :)
