Spock K-20 and her 4 year old calf Comet K-38 have been separated from their pod for at least 4 days. These whales are members of the Southern Resident Community of Endangered orcas. They have been traveling around these familiar waters possibly looking/waiting for the rest of their family. But where are they? We don't know. This morning they passed by the west side of San Juan Island, WA and I was able to get this short video clip of them. I have been chronicling their whereabouts on my blog http://whale-of-a-porpoise.blogspot.com
