Hackintosh?

This monitor has a 2ms response time, not 5ms as stated in the video. This is why it's ideal for gaming
-
This is probably the best choice if you want to play games and watch movies with reasonable price.
-
@iTzKINGToXIC Yes you can.

So I listen to your full review and I have to admit it was a good review, my only question is can I hook a hdmi cable that my xbox came with to this monitor?

@TheMouser9900 dude no games EVER in the world of gaming was EVER made on a mac..... Most games are wrote and made on linux retard. And guess what apple did to create Mac OS..... They wrote the macintosh Os off linux you retard.. Apple never created there os from scratch like windows did. Linux and Windows will be forever ahead in the gaming and movie industry then you think. Apple products are for gays and little kids.

@SnowboardPlata lol...you must really hate movies, music, games considering Mac is used to make/edit pretty much all of those....sorry if you can't figure out how to use one;)

@9mariners im actually getting mine in less than a week, ill post up a video, and let you know how it works
can you show a video of you playing call of duty or something. I have a ps3 and i want to monitor for gaming and this looks like a good one

@9mariners I guess, the quality wont translate well over YouTube but I can assure you that once you go ASUS you never go back. The 2ms response and the contrast ratio between colors gives you a remarkable gaming advantage. I actually hate gaming on even the best TVs now just because how good it is to game on a gaming monitor.

Just do yourself a favor: Learn how a PC actually works. Then build yourself a real computer that is far more powerful and far less expensive than anything that comes our of Cupertino.

@bottigle 2 things, stop making troll wars, a review is what I think about the product, if you don't like my thoughts, than leave a comment saying so and leave. Second off, I have built computers before, I personally don't care too much for hardware though. I'm a programmer, I care more about software.... Also I use mac because I code in Xcode and use Apple's APIS, I own a gaming PC I built and a Sony Vaio.

I can tell you're a Mac user:
1080p has 1080 horizontal scan lines. The "p" in 1080p stands for progressive scan, not ppi.
Also, it would be helpful if you included the MODEL # in your review. So typical of a Mac user. Simply calling it an Asus gaming monitor is useless. Also, the screen size is not 23.5", it is 23.6".
Finally, how the hell do you plan on "gaming" with this monitor on your Mac? Why waste the time, money, and energy to game on something inferior to an Xbox 360?
Have fun...

@bottigle Oh boy I love trolls
I can tell you're a PC user.
When I made this video I was a bit un educated on monitors and didn't know anything about resolutions, now I basically 100% understand it.
Also, you're lazy and didn't check the description, huge sign of a PC user. Check it, tell me what you see...
Finally, I use it on the Mac because of it's size and game on my Xbox using VGA.
Also, a huge show that you're a PC user is you're seeking out Mac users to bash in any way possible.
