I figured it's time for me to upload a video, since it's been forever! Also, I've been fangirling over Florence + the Machine's new Album ' Ceremonials' and specifically this song (Never Let Me Go). Give it a listen, and I hope you enjoy :)

Huh. Technically decent, but I'm seeing some improper singing technique leading to strain in the belt 'register', likely from habits / styling picked up from choral work.

I'm concerned you're not even feeling a song which MUST be felt, and intensely. Could be Florence's style is too different for you - at least using that choir technique.

I'd be curious to hear you cover an artist like Adele; your mezzo would sweeten her songs in a way her contralto can't.
