American Flag Discraced at UMF

The entire thing was part of a 'gorilla' art project. According to Federal Law, those were not actual flags.

Besides, the flag does not protect our freedom - the bill of rights does. The flag is a symbol and as long as we allow people to express their rights, the flag will be disgraced, burned, etc. And we can all complain about or honor that choice because of where we live. Be open-minded, people.

I appreciate atking your won time to look up this helpful information, but the flags were NOT real and she came from a family who respected America which is why she wanted to do this porject. It saddens me when people who object her veiws do not even take the time to look at her own reasons why she did what she did. They automatically jump to hasty conclusions and it disgusts me to EVERY extent.

thank you for putting this video on here. I know you don't have to respect the flag if you're a pussy hippie student at UMF, but you don't try to use it as a doormat. A veteran would have kicked the ass of the person whose "project" this was, and if they didn't, I would!!! no questions asked!

Wow you must've been picked on or some other shit that traumatized you here in Maine because you're fucking crazy. I went to UMaine Orono AND Farmington, and in both places, no majority of people were either 'mean' or 'weird.' There will always be those people that are in ANY state, so stop lumping everyone together. Fucking close minded asshole is what you are.
