panoramic view of a canyon & 400 foot waterfall located a little past hana, hawaii in maui. ( this is where the seven sacred pools get their water from :))
if planning a trip, plan to stay in hana for one night to see this cause its too long of a drive to go there and back (and dangerous to use the one laned winding road at night) and most places are booked if you dont plan ahead!
amazing.
and a long hike. approx 1.5 hrs to get there for people in some sort of decent shape, bring water!)
NOT FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE COMPLETELY OUT OF SHAPE!
i was there my parnets wouldnt let mne do the bridge jump -.-

Really good review and detailed info if you search "Waimoku Falls" at the smartmaui website - they won't let you put a freeking link in the comments - but google smartmaui or just add the d c at the end. Sheez...

Thats Waimoku. And You can make it from Haiku to Ulupalakua in a days time, you don't even have to stay in Hotel Hana. It doesnt take that long at all.

I have a waterfall just like this one in my backyard!! I hide my spaceship and secret lab behind the water!

hah, i know where that is. just a tip to tourists, 7 sacred pools isnt all that!!! btw the road OUT of hana is FAR better scenery than the road coming in(winding road) and the back road is also closed, due to the earth quake, they arnt going to have it up and running for some time imo

Been there nice! The beach with the large smooth rocks is also killer. A few miles south.
