What key is this in?

It is sung beautifully and passionate but it lacks the "Demut" (humbleness) that is so very moving about ist...

Impresionante el final y la pasión con la que canta. Se nota que disfruta mucho lo que hace.

@LordoftheTrapdoors Yes, Senor Villazon's English is good (I'm American). And anyway, it makes sense of Don Quixote to have a Spanish accent. I don't know that this version is my absolute favorite, but it did give me chills several times. Gracias, Rolando.

No his best performance, but still enjoyable. Listen to him on "Je crois entendre encore" my favorite fron Villazon. English is not a good language for Opera, sorry. Italian is the language of Opera.

great, but where's the fire?

Magnifique Rolando !

In my opinion absolutely not the best version. He sings this song way too fast and he seems to pay more attention to volume than to the emotion of this song. I'd even say this is one of the wost versions I've seen.
WOW!!!! This is perhabs the best version of this song (i know abuot 20-30 versions). Vehement, strong, powerful, with a rich, dark, perfect voice. He is also a great actor and, i believe (i am italian)with a good english
PS. this song is for baritone, he is a tenor!
BRAVISSIMO!
