The Edsel Auctioneer burst out of Leeds in the late Eighties, sporting a fine set of noisy tunes reminiscent of Dinosaur Jr. The Edsel Auctioneer shared a drummer (Chris Cooper) with fellow Leeds group the Pale Saints for the first two singles.
Great band that I discovered through Snub! Saw them live at the Jericho Tavern in Oxford in 1992. All their singles were really fine. Miss that sound :(
