This is a clip from the 1950's TV series, Tales Of Tomorrow. It was similar to The Twilight Zone or The Outer Limits. In this clip, Leslie Nielsen (with dark hair!)

and Brian Keith (billed as Robert Keith Jr) have landed on the planet Mars. A mining company has sent them there to find uranium. But did they find more than they counted on?

  • thanks Captain Bringdown for ruining the party!

  • Robert Keith Sr, Brian Keith's father, was an actor. He was the old, dying guy on the Twilight Zone episode who made his relatives wear the magic masks on Mardi Gras that made their faces change to match their gruesome personalities. One of my favorite episodes.

  • They shouldn't have given the actors carbonated beverages. Did you notice that Nielsen ends up with a pretty bad case of the burps and hiccups towards the end of this segment, which he tries his darndest to suppress and hide?? Kinda comical.

  • Did the guy stop to think that they haven't even explored Mars yet?!? He sees one little parcel of land and assumes the entire planet is exactly the same everywhere. Kinda shortsighted. Must be a liberal. Perhaps they landed in Mar's equivalent of Earth's Death Valley. Seems to be going off his rocker a little fast, but then what would YOU do if you'd been cooped up with Nielsen for the six month journey there and had to listen to all his lame knock knock jokes over and over and over?!?

  • There is Beer On Mars!

  • No Indians on mars to kill.
