GameFAQS 6v9 Badlands PubStar POV (part 1)

so the bros at gamefaqs decided to have an experiment. organized by iijasd, meth, and dr. john dorian and hosted by cerious with supers, we took 9 players who had only ever done pubs and 6 players who had played competitive games. the 9 pubstars were playing highlander (1 of each class) while the 6 comps were playing cevo rules (no more than 2 of each class, only one demo or medic).

this is the view as seen from the sourcetv server. it's got free look and etc, so i was able to take it's demo and follow around blu team. enjoy part 1!

badlands was fun, we pretty much rolled right on through until half way through the match. then the pubstars got organized and managed to push us back to mid and further to our courtyard, though we held the red line and went on to win it.

note: they were using the in game chat but we were all on vent, explaining our relative silence.

his rationale was that red team would have much greater mobility through their scouts and rocket jumps and what not, and that slowing them down would be of greater use than the extra damage.

yeah, their whole "natascha" plan would have worked out well if their heavy could actually aim! check out the last point battle at around 7:15 where the heavy manages to miss for a good 10 seconds against the scouts at point blank range. just pay attention to his bad aim throughout the entire video...
