Zero-Cost Battery in an Electric Pickup Truck TV newscast

Probably the world's cheapest "car" to run, as its battery is free of cost. Not quite a Tesla electric sports car, but this 1984 electric pickup is running on the closest thing to "free energy" and...

Al gore is a corporate shill. Global warming is mostly due to our emergence with the galactic eclpitic 12-21-2012 at the Hunab K'u. Sure mankinds toxic filth from the oil, coal etc. is horrific, but gore getting a nobel prize for claiming it is the cause of changes which are taking places on Earth and all planets within our solar system and the sun as well, is of course ludicrous.

Let me know how you make out with your back EMF motor.

Have you seen our club's Bedini and modified Adams motors? We've experimented similarly to yours.

don't know how this guys system works, but the Bedini SSG motor/energiser claims to do the same thing. plans to build your own can be found all over the web and youtube... it only takes a few minutes to solder together...the motor runs on one battery while charging another with high voltage flyback spikes from the coil. I'm still in the process of testing its effect on a long dead battery...the company energenx sells chargers that use a solidstate version of the same idea...

Most of our recyclables are sold to China. I dont approve of this. Plus they take the recyleable assets and charge us to do so. Sweet system for the commies to make money

Shanghai (according to a National Geographic article) once had terrible air pollution which was reduced after a reduction in cars, which caused a rise in lead-acid batteries being dumped everywhere by electric bicycle owners. Shanghai then banned electric bikes next. Let's hope that London (Congestion Tax) and Milan (Pollution Toll) don't have the same sad end, in respect to electric cars.

UK is a moron for having such a regressive tax. The rich will laugh at it and the poor suffer and move away

The posted video states that lead acid batteries "would otherwise be in a landfill." This is nonsense. I agree that Third World environmental conditions must be addressed, but the news broadcast is simply based on ignorance.

Read Shanghai battery trash story. "Revived Batteries" may be a great solution to Londoners and Milan electric vehicle owners, let's hope that they can implement battery revival science like we have in Vancouver, Canada.

FYI: Mexico City and Manila have recently started joint business/government electric vehicle manufacturing operations. They are not aware that electric cars' batteries may likely cost 2X-10X more than gasoline, unless they revive batteries, like we did in Vancouver.

Good sound but video from tv to camera is poor. Didn't the stations website have the video on line ? Might be a good idea to get a DVD recorder. Thanks for the EV Austin link. I'll put a link on our groups website. voltwagons dot com

The Global TV crew brought their own battery guy to check things out. Note the battery load test in the newscast and also by the newspaper (Burnaby Now) -- there is a blogsite with photos of the newspaper guy using the tester himself before the paper ran the story on the front page.
