i feel Pakistani singers should not go to India to prove how good they are? They are never gonna win there thats a fact. I think Pakistan should do something to nurture this talent and bring them up, 'cause i don't think it is hard to do that. Singers like amanat, Mussarat, Akbar, Abbas etc. are legends in the making. I don't know what else can they do to win, for me they are all worthy winners, better than any indian contestants i have heard by mile.

Friends when this music was born there was no India no Pakistan...and when I listen to Ghulam Ali, Mehdi Hasan , Nusrat Fateh Ali or Abeeda Parveen I don't feel they r from different country...bade apne lagte hain yaar..

i have heard all hte music from pakistan and india. I think indians can beat pakistanis by a mile everytie be it rahat, nusarat, gulam ali, mehndi hassan or anyone. As for playing instruments, if you listen carefully and compare it is no doubt Indian musicians are the best in eastern music and there is no comparision. Pakistani and other countrys singers and musicians have to come to India to further the knowledge of music and that has been done by all the singers and musicians from evrywhere

My beef with all these programs are they make pakistani singers, in your words ARTISTS treated like shit. If they are artists they should be appreciated not humilated in front of millions. So my point they should not goto india as they are not going to win even thought they are the best.
