Happy Holidays Lily. This is part one of your gift; so I hope you enjoy the rest (in due time) over at the DH board! I had actually intended to do you a full Jax/Tara (SOA) video but this song just sceamed to be vidded for a character study on Tara. I hope you enjoy it girlie!

Some Notes on the video:
Leaving the video in its original format (no coloring, no effects) was intentional. I just felt like going back to basics (it's why i love no effects challenges so much) because I think vidders nowadays tend to get lost in all of that 'fancy stuff'; and sometimes it can be hard to tell if what was done to the video was just the beauty of the clips (ex: internal movement) or if it was altered. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that but it's always nice to see a video stripped down to the essentials. So I hope that those who are familiar with the fandom (and even those who aren't) are still able to enjoy the video.

Lastly I had originally intended to use this song for Gwen (Merlin; GASP!) back when the that farce of a triangle episode happened (the lancelot/gwen betrayal episode) but for some reason I put it off. But I'm glad I did because this just suits Tara so much.

awww gosh... i'm just so happy right now... TARA LOVE!!! Personally, I really love the no effects|coloring idea... Leaves one to focus on the emotional aspect of the video and your take on scene matching to lyrics+beat. And let me just say, it's brilliantly done. Tears filled my eyes at the end there!
