@MyLoveAPBT Buddy Smaller feeding enclosures are better, your wrong, and second he hadnt be eating, and because of his size, he needed to ASAP. i agree that Ball Pythons can be stubborn on eating even though people say balls have no issues with it, but small kings will occasionally do this.

your not supposed to have your hands near when you feed him cause he'll start to see a relationship between food and your hands.. he'll bite your hand when you put it in the cage thinking its food.. his bites might not be bad now.. but he will grow.. see how you like getting bit then.. and what kinda cali king snake is that?

I have a california king snake. Freakin musks and poops all the time. Shes 10 months old... I had her for two months. It's annoying.

Nice video. You seem a... little rough with him/her. Be more careful.

And... when the snake is striking at it, it's not really "Striking" it's trying to get ahold of it. Like you said, he's hungry. So just drop the food in his tank. I know the thrill of feeding him. But, it's better to just drop it in the cage so he can get to it without being stressed. :)
