A big happy belated 324th birthday to J.S. Bach and I present to him this video of his cello suite ( with loads of desserts! )

Ralph Kirshbaum is the soloist.

Hope everyone enjoys the desserts! :)

  • One of my all time favorites! :)

But I must protest! Bach and desserts are a dangerous combination: now I'm really hungry!

    5 stars and fav! ;)

  • Absolutely love this rendition ...this cellist is one of my favorites....truely need to find another copy of Bach cello suites by Ralph....i listen to it whenever i am driving anywhere and it always puts me in the mood to accomplish anything...! Alas someone broke into my car and take a guess as to one of my few megar possesions stolen.....of course my Bach....

  • lovley....even a 13 year old kid like me can like this

  • Beautifully played.

  • epic song!

  • @unusualmusician

I agree with you!!! :D Bach's music sounds so young! :)

  • 324 and he doesn't sound a day over 30. Beautifully played.

I posted a lovely rendition of this famous piece of ear (mind and soul) candy on my channel. It's a little jazzy, but it's all there ;-)

    Viva Bach!

  • sweet....

  • We need more Ralph Kirshbaum videos! I've heard him in concert, and he's the "chocolatiest" cellist ever! Wonderful artist. His Elgar, Dvorak, Tschaikowsky, Beethoven Sonatas, etc. are exquisite!!
