I decided to straighten my hair for Thanksgiving. The results were awesome. I really like the instyler and will be using it again.

As far as my hair progress, I'm disappointed in the length (after watching my last straighten vid I see the length is about the same). My primary focus has been health of my hair. It is healthy, but now I want the length. Watch my upcoming vids on how I will target length more.

Did u use the highest temp or was it on medium???

Soo ur hair does revert back to curls after using the instyler ......I was afraid to use this because I had seen a review on a natural head and she said her curls never came back she became straight again permanently on one side of her head.

What type of rollers did you sleep in you hair is beautiful and what type of moisturizer do you use when your hair is straightened.

@MsSuperEverything I used regular hard rollers and used metal clips to keep them in place (same rollers I would use for a roller set)

I've never seen that heat protecter before? do you know if it's in walmart with the other Giovanni lines?

In order to get the roots straight, some people carefully place the barrel side of the Instyler against their roots for a few seconds. Just like some people use the back of a hot comb for the roots and then use the comb teeth to run through the hair strands. Try it, but be careful! Your hair came out great :)

I had an in-styler but gave it away. Didn't work on my 4b transitioning (at the time) hair.

why dont you try getting your roots with a flat iron first & then doing the instyler...i do that for my hair
