Bob McQuillen Tells Stories and Plays Tunes

88 years young Bob McQuillen has been playing for dances in the Nelson, NH Town Hall for over 64 years. Recently
he agreed to tell stories and play some tunes for an
appreciative audience as part of the Nelson, NH . (population 604, 2010 Census ) Town Library Summer Lecture Series. It was a fun evening
with a lot of laughs.

Over the years Bob has written many tunes collected in 12 song books. One of the tunes on the video (and probably
his most famous) is a waltz named Amelia which has been
played by many different contra dance bands as the last waltz at the end of the evening.
