  • yes love this..thx for posting it...its a great one:)))))

  • @NFitalianGuy .....I wanna say I agree ....so I will .... "I agree."

Also, she, if she were in today's world, they could have helped Judy with her addictions and given her anti-depressants.

I bet like Liz Taylor, people would have been astounded at the wonder of our Judy...does this make ANY sense----what I say here????? lol ....was trying to say she--Judy--was a wonder, no matter what her looks looked like...oh well))))

  • @Sangoforever

    She simply adored them.

  • "My high notes won't come out tonight!" And that's the reason Judy seems so ambilivent toward her daughter. Liza was fresh and young and if she didn't have the finesse of Judy at her best, she had the vocal power. And she uses it. Liza was no amateur at this point and no stranger to live audiences. Judy most likely expected Liza to "hold back." She didn't, and why should she have?

  • it's obvious @2:07, and @2:12, and again @2:13 Liza is dodging her Mother, and quite po'd by Judy's jealousy and perhaps anger unsuppressed by a changing of the personality. I suspect Judy's drug use caused her as a Gemini to lose control from time to time creating alternate versions of herself. This self would sometimes attack her children, looking @Liza's will for the show to go on.

  • @1:20 You can see MOMA's pride and joy with her "Baby". I know my daughter makes me feel the same way.

  • Notice the bit where Judy shoves the mike toward Liza's face? Liza said in a biography, she thought, "You didn't do THAT in rehearsal, Mama!" She also said she would never sing with Judy again onstage. And she didn't. She did sing once during Judy's Palace engagement in 1967, but solo. Merv Griffin tried to get Liza to appear with Judy on his show; she refused.

  • I know most are writing about the "love" but to me Garland looks pissed...sort of passive aggresive...like shes adjusting Liza's mic then smirking off stage...

Liza looks a little dodgey about the antics...

Garland appears to be thinking "wow everyone gets in the act..and kicks me in the teeth "

  • @iizzyy96 no prob glad to help!
