Edward Bernays made it possible for cigarette companies to profit from woman. by making it socially acceptable to for woman to smoke.

Women are easing Manipulated by catering to their feeling for Women's Right. They did the same thing in the 70's Now look what we have Empty Homes , HIGH  Divorce rate abortion, Child support,Welfare, Fatherless more Gang Crime. The leads to More Police, courts, judges,clerks,lawyers MORE MORE Government get the picture.

it's pretty amazing how the subconcious of people can be manipulated in many different ways, in this case with a single phrase " torchs of freedom" a simbol as the statue of liberty which works in a racional sense, that encouraged girls to smoke for making them feel powerful and independent. so bernays shows us with all this experiment that manipulation is a very crucial fact for the entiere society even more if it is to make profit!!
