Let's Play Metal Gear Part 1: Infiltration

Completion time: Around 59:53. Calculated before splicing the parts, so give or take a couple minutes.

Not really a speed-run, but at the same time, it is. I wanted to finish it quickly, but I didn't do things as quickly as I probably could have. Course I haven't played this since I was like, 6. Did the commentary a bit different from my norm, hope you enjoy it.

Hopefully I'll have it completely up within a few days. I know I said I'd do the MSX version, but I'm a lot more familiar with this, and wanted to get it done before next Friday.

By far the most annoying part of this game: Having to remove a GAS MASK from your face and take a hit before pulling a KEY CARD out of your pocket to get out of the room, hahaha. I'd understand if you were wearing boxing gloves or something, but that shit's just silly :D

The NES version seems to be difficult for all the wrong reasons. It seems enemies like to stand right outside doors and hit you the moment you exit. I always take damage exiting the door at 3:10. This guy obviously has more skills than me.

I'd say the MSX version is superior, but I've only played both games for roughly 10 minutes or so.

Ah man! I have this game on the NES and the other day I tried to play it again and I still dont manage to get really far! This game has no mercy, but it is good because its part of the great MG/MGS story. I want to pass it so bad because of the story so I had to get an NES emulator on my wii that supports the game genie and now I am going to play it like a damn cheater! =P damn it why am I going to do this!?

@ThaGama2 The audio is slowed down. Evidence is the music is in the wrong key, it's about a whole tone lower than in the game.
