Oh yes I can remember trudging round Kirkby leafleting and selling Socialist Worker! Kirkby was a neglected dump, similar to Huyton. The Labour Party were w*nkers. Still are, of course!

Amazing yet depressing to see this, this is my roots and many of the children in this video must be my age or a little older, funny really but conditions look dire but times really felt alright, the innocence of childhood could we say. Thank God that conditions and Kirkby looks a well better place today.
