Elements of this show remind me of Terminator 2, Max is like John Connor teaching the T-800 - which is like Norman. Also Max's mum is very similar to Sarah Connor in both looks and personality. They both have strong themes of fate and destiny and came out near each other.

Man they sure don't make them like they used to, cartoons today are WAAAY to politically correct to be as good as this.
I love how rather then just "knocking out" the badguy like would usually happen in a PC cartoon, Norman throws him into an iron maiden, then a pit of spikes, and THEN a pit of fire. Yeah I'm pretty sure you can't pass that one off as the monster being "knocked out." Norman buddy, thanks for reminding us of a time when it was okay for a cartoon character to have balls.
