How to install the ATRAC3 codec on Windows Vista/7 64bit

Hello today I will show you how to install the ATRAC3 ACM codec on Windows Vista/7 64 bit



1. Download the file :
http://www.minidisc.org/atrac3.zip

2. Extract the .acm file to C:\Windows\SysWOW64

3. Open the Notepad and paste :


Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Drivers32]
"msacm.atrac3acm"="atrac3.acm"

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\drivers.desc]
"atrac3.acm"="Sony ATRAC3 ACM"


4.Save this as something.reg

5.Run the .reg file

6. Restart your Computer

7.Youre DONE!!!!You can now use Goldwave to save as ATRAC3.

windows has no sysWOW64 what is the name of it on it
