they've put up skatestops on the ledges on urbis nw, its a joke, i go every saturday to skate, its just shit with the stops :/

@ConnoR303 and the sad thing is a skateboard is classed as a pedestrian vehicle according to transport laws, so this by-law contradicts traffic laws :s

Why not apply to Manchester City Council for he CCTV footage of yourselves, if you can name a time place and date and send a copy of ID (photocopy of passport will suffice)and pay £10 they have to BY LAW provide you with the CCTV footage, the application form is available on the website and is kept for 90 days,,,,,have fun..........

Something needs to be done and soon.

I skated literally from victoria station up to near the ledges and got my details taken.

its utterly pathetic. not even being able to use my board as a form of transport.

There is no reason for us to be stopped from skating. We don't skate into people or anything and we're really not as menacing as some people think we are.

We do need a free facility that will allow us to skate without being pestered by feds or chavs.
