@PaulusGT40 most 60s lemans sports cars were right hand drive. even the ferrari p3/4 the gear shifter was always on the right though.

The cars were designed & manufactured in the UK (based on the Lola GT then project was taken over by Ford Advanced Vehicle Ltd based in Slough, UK) hence all right-hand drive as per the UK spec. Modern replica/continmuations of the original spec GT40's are available in Left hand drive.

All originals were right hand drive only but some modern replicas are available with Left drive (CAV, SPF)

Hi. No Turbo, what yu probably hear is just the Secondary's kicking in of the Holley 700CFM carb !!
