Filmed during 2001-2002. Locations include Georgetown, Brantford, Woodstock, London and Komoka. We also catch a train on the CSX Sarnia sub and the Port Stanley Tourist Line. 60 minutes, no narration with liner notes

  • What was the ## of the amtrak?

  • It would have been a VIA #85 or #87. Toronto to Chicago via the Guelph sub (now GEXR)

  • It wasn't long after that service to Chicago was ended and the train terminated at Sarnia with VIA equipment only

  • Do you get any action on the CASO? Maybe some in St. Thomas. If so, where can I buy a copy of this!? :D

  • No. Unfortunately I started filming too late to catch any action on the CASO. There is a CSX train near Dresden on this video.

  • This was filmed around 2001 when Amtrak from Toronto to Chicago used Amtrak equipment.....even Superliners !!

  • at 1:07 is that georgetown cause i live in georgetown and i railfan georgetown and i have never seen a amtrak there EVEN a superliner.
