This album is one of the true milestones of how a band should sound live! Absolute perfection-only wished I couldve seen the concert in person! I hear even then it as hard for a 6 yr old to get a ticket to a rock show!

@Traveyaknow ///deAR travelin'' man: i guess it just wasnt meant to be. everyone was suing everyone for 4-5 yrs and then john almost got deported. by then mccartney finally decided to tour in 1976 with george touring in 1974. meannwhile john was a househusband fr 1975 on up until you know what happened in 1980. i think if he had lived they miught have toured again in early 80s as he and paul became chums again in late 70s but we all know what happened on december 8th, dont we????

The Wings over America live album has been one of my favorites since it was released but it has always made me wonder had the Beatles had the option to do the solo album thing like so many musicians did in the 80's just imagine how awesome a Beatles concert would have been with the much better P.A.s and the mayhem of Beatlemania outgrown by the fans

What a polite generation we were. We sat there and let the song be performed without any hoots, whistles or sing-a-long.
I was there, 3rd row center. Man, what a rush.
Who is the bassist? he made some little extra links quite nice
