Zidane is a fuckin stud. He totally styles on the lame emo-punktard protagonists in the series and gets the woman of his dreams by winning her over romantically rather than others who just make the love interests in their lives feel sorry for their dunb asses. You know this guy's getting it in after this scene.

it wasn't until years later that I found out it was Vivi who was talking at the end, and that he died shortly after, for some reason as a kid I thought it had been Garnet, even though seeing this now, that wouldn't have made much sense.

I would have been so heartbroken if I knew it had been Vivi when I played this as a kid though. Vivi was my most favorite FF character ever! Even watching this as an adult I still get a little teary eyed.
