My daily driver is E46 328i and E30 325i weekends. 325i is more responsive with Signature Motoring performance (CAI) intake kit. Installed it myself in under half hour. HP increase on the 325i is about 9.5HP for a cost of $170 or around $19 per HP gain. Best 1st performance mod to do. Other application data:
E30 series: 6.0-13.4hp gain
E36 series: 5.5-12hp gain
E46 series: 6.0-13.9hp gain
E92 series: 8.5+ hp gain
Z3/Z4 (all): 5.5-13.9hp gain

I’m happy with my 325i, but the only performance mods are sport suspection and the Signature Motoring performance intake for about $150. Signature Motoring kit adds around 9HP on the dyno, great sound, and the best performance upgrade for the money. See my channel videos!
-Adds 9HP average
-Never replace filter again (uses K&N filter)
-GREAT SOUND
-Installs in maybe 30-45 min. K&N filter lasts a lifetime.
I'm thinking maybe performance exhaust, but eh.

Sounds good! Is this with standard induction/exhaust?

very nice sound !
What do you mean empty exhausts?
Hollowed out cats and muffler-delete?

Actually bought car with this, so I cannot explain precisely. This looked like standard complete exhaust but with emptified cat and large end tip added (like 5 x 2''). Looked shitty but... ;)
