LG Optimus V Review

Sydney does a full review of the LG Optimus V from Virgin Mobile. The Optimus V is a standard mid-range Android device that ships with stock Android 2.2, a 600 MHz processor and a 3.2 MP auto-focus camera. Though it's not a high-end smartphone, the performance of the device was very impressive. The 600 MHz processor did a good job of keeping up and the 3G data speeds were great.

The phone is especially impressive considering the price. It's only $150 from Virgin Mobile with no contract. Virgin Mobile also has some of the best plans from a prepaid carrier. Check out the full review for more details.

I got this phone yesterday.

My dad wasn't planing on buying me this phone but the man at best buy convinced him it was better than the original phone my father wanted to get for me from verizon.

I am so happy that guy convinced my father or else I would have been stuck with another slide phone.

for anyone that haves an LG phone and is windering how to update your android go to LG's site and download LGMobile Update select your model and the country your from(from options and help)

This phone may not even get an 2.3 update because not all phones/hardware, can support the new software.

I got mine from Amazon for $99 plus shipping. I liked your review of this smart phone. Im a Senior and have just used the plain jane flip phones from Virgin Mobile for years so an upgrade has been in order. The cost verses the two phones are about the same but the new phone is a honey of a deal. Thanks again for you review of this phone, its been most helpfull. Keep up the good work !
