How airplanes are recycled. Hate to see those poor planes get torn up. I'd give 'em a good home.

  • @beaster29 RIght on. I'm tired of the people who decry the scrapping of old planes, trains, and cars. If they want to buy them all and pay for their maintenance, storage, upkeep, fuel etc .. they can go right ahead. Otherwise they can shut up and let recycling continue.

  • 2:05 Is it just me or did blood spurt out when he ripped of the engine?

  • @Rb2productions its the poor planes blood :(

  • IF YOU SELL SCRAP METAL FOR A LIVIN THIS VIDEO IS SACRED

  • IF THE SCRAP YARD PAYS MORE THEN THE COLLECTORS, GUESS WHOS GOING TO GET IT?

  • @DVeck89 Somp people buy them, and pay a storage fee. They use the planes for parts in order to keep another plane of theirs operating. After that recycling is the next best thing to do with them though.

  • As long as a few are preserved for historical reasons (museums, etc) then it's reasonable and necessary to recycle these aircraft that have served their purpose for as long as they could be useful. And in the case of the C-141, they served out their entire designed service life AND got service life extensions. We got our money's worth out of them and to use them any more would be unsafe. The airframes are "cycled out". Metal fatigue would make them dangerous to continue flying.

  • That was hydraulic fluid that came out of the engine strut

  • Omg poor planes. I relly wanna buy one and have in the backyard

  • omg this is sad :(

  • You'd have to be another aircraft to be disappointed in this; all the metal goes into making circuit boards for our computers, cellphones, and TVs.
