  • Nasty Dog,

    e-mail me.

I just noticed that the first few photos of the tilt clip pivot point was changed from that configuration, Nov. '02 post.

Mar. '03 Saga of the Tilt Clip continues.

Aug. '03 Important Observation about putting a tilt clip on a car.

Had to build a new frame because of it.

Feb. '05 / 16 Hinge Plates, shows new configuration and much better idea.

    Cheers

    .

  • Nasty Dog,

On my front page of my website, just below the site Logo, there's a Visitor's Projects Page, just below that there's an e-mail link ( message in a bottle ). E-mail me, send me pics of your car and project description / statistics and I'll post it to my site, would love to see it.

  • Oh Yeah !!! Love this car. I have a 49 champion and working on the tilt front end . Could you post a pic of yours so i can get a better idea as to how to make it work right. Any help would be great ... Thanks for a nice clip

  • Nasty dog,

If you go to my build page you'll find info there.

Unfortunately You Tube won't let me give you my site address here, so you'll have to go through Google.

Google the Modified Studebaker Web Ring, I am it's moderator.

Look for the 1950 Studebaker Retro Rod Project, that's my web site.

You can leave me a message there and I can get back to you that way and to answer any questions.

    Good luck

Mines is a muncie 4 speed and 12 bolt chevy narrowed rear, 4 link, Wider rear fenders (4 inches). My is channeled instead of chopped 6 inches over the frame which is a 36 chevry truck completely boxed. Same wipers and Mustang front end . Just a few things to mention lol. Thank You so very much for your reply.
