  • I hate to inform you that think Paul and this Hacket guy, or whatever, are the heart of Little Feat. They are still trying to make a living off the multy talented founding member, writer and the creator of Little Feat...The Late Great Lowell George. These guys con't touch him.

  • You have to see these guys live. Thats when you really start buzzing!

  • @PeluMaad I used to have a mando, and I have a tenor Banjo, no experience with a 5 string. I know Led Zeppelin's "the battle of evermore" is played in drop D on the mandolin. One of my favorite youtubers is Jim Richter, that guy plays lots of old rock songs on the mandolin. Check him out, the guys amazing!

  • @unfoundbassist ....I've never heard of altered mandolin tunings. Sometimes the octave and unison strings are changed up and of course, sometimes instruments are tuned lower...but the keys of G and D are probably easiest to play in standard GDAE tuning. Do you know anything about Gus Cannon's banjo tunings?

  • @PeluMaad that would explain the broken strings lol, guess I should stick to bass :) Your correct with open G being DGDGBD not DGDGAD. Wonder if the mandolin is dropped to D as well.... so it would be GDAD

  • @unfoundbassist ...DGDGBD....????

  • great instructional video - thank you

  • Great song and what a lovely place to have performed it!

  • Best rockin' band EVER!
