A review of the Nook Tablet Android tablet and ebook reader from Barnes & Noble. Here is our super in-depth full written review: http://www.mobiletechreview.com/ereaders/Nook-Tablet.htm This is their second gen 7" color LCD ereader and more. It runs Android OS 2.3 with B&N's Nook 1.4 firmware at launch. The UI looks much the same as the last gen Nook Color, but there's a much faster dual core 1GHz CPU inside and double the RAM so the tablet can run the included Netflix, Hulu Plus and Adobe Flash smoothly. It has an IPS display, 16 gigs of storage and a microUSB port.

  • will ebooks purchased on an amazon kindle and when plugged into a pc copied onto the nook work????

  • @stephen071195 Yes, the e-ink Kindles can do this. But the easiest way to do this is to download the Kindle app on your PC and get the books you've purchased there.

  • I was wondering if I purchase movies off Amazon or iTunes, would I be able to transfer them to a Nook Tablet and view them from there?

  • @Drew151617 They have DRM, and you can't play them on the Nook Tablet unfortunately.

  • Can you turn this into a drawing tablet? Like Wacom( misspell). I want to try drawing with it, but I can find out how.

  • @dbzandroid13 You spelled Wacom correctly. :) No, the Nook Tablet doesn't support digitizers like Wacom. You can use capacitive styli, but they are a lot less precise and not design for serious drawing.

  • Quickoffice can be used as a file manager as well. I use it on my Nook Color all the time. Also, even though BN apps are few, they have expanded greatly from 100 apps a year ago to 2000, I think, now.

  • dose it have youtube? are cam?

  • @NerdyCanadian *allowing

  • Can you load a photograph you have taken onto the Tab, and use it as Wallpaper?

  • Hey, B&N is now allowed repartitioning of the Tablet! Just take it into a store (possibly online as well?) and they'll do it right there!

  • So does this tablet get as many free apps as an apple Itouch or iPad would?
