Cyber Heroes of New York at the National Academy

About the collective identity of urban humanity -- viewer, meet the "everyone" of cyberspace. We are all now Cyber Heroes, e-heroes. The video reveals symbol of the Cyber Hero -- a new icon, an incandescent persona visualized as a giant traffic signal made of dotted lights, to walk forever into the future. We are the e-heroes. The National Academy Museum becomes the intersection of Classicism and Cyberspace. The screen is the e-mural of cyberspace. The giant e-icon walks around the formal dining room of the National Academy, by the Bethesda Statue in Central Park, down Fifth Avenue by Bergdorf Men's, back by the Falconer of Central Park, into the Academy where Venus variations complement Apollo, David, Hermes, Patience, Muses. World views and time blend in transparent layers of photography to transform walls with historic references to the surrounding environment and social history of the location, the character and interests of the owners, the architecture, style, scale and current use of the room, and the geographic orientation of the walls, while the artist captures the essence of life in the moment, in an original and unique composition and technique to define the present time through art.
