i dont think he really did right it. listen to petes stuff with both libertines and babyshambles and then listen to the coral. its completely coral.

Peter did write it but sold it and the rights to claim he wrote it for £50 to buy some more crack. sounds like a joke or a stab at Peter and his addiction but i know for a fact its actually true.

@ScarletxCrimson he was saying that he wrote a similar guitar part to the one in this song. the coral didn't steal from them or anything, it was an unlucky coincedence that the coral wrote it first
