This is such a beautiful song. It's the only time I've felt the English version to be almost as good as the French one. Celine nails every song she sings. She's amazing!

I havent never heard the english version before. French version is much more better than this. these lyrics in here are just so weird.

she is of course amazing...I am just wondering how accurate the translation is. clearly it is not as literal and word-for-word a translation...for instance, the line "que deviens-tu" was translated as "how's life for you"...I had been thinking "what has become of you" maybe? I guess I am not grasping the subtleties if the phrase.
it is just hard for someone like me...either way, I'm not getting the whole thing. in English I am sure a lot of connotations and subtle meanings are lost, while in

But I may be bias as I'm fluent in both Canadian Official languages so what you like is what you like. Wonder if she can do it in other Latin languages ....They are the most beautiful lnaguages................. eh? :-)

I agree. The frech version is far better than the english one! But, being Spanish, I'd love her to sing a song in spanish. It'd be great!
