Everybody always talks about what a great lead player Mick Taylor was; and it's true. But theses wicked-assed Chuck Berry leads in here are all KEITH! PURE Keef!

These guys are so good(gifted), especially being english blokes writing blues music. I just love their soul and their 'inter-connect'/timing" as musicians. Too bad about the "rockstar politics" great band, great songwriters. So glad to have seen two of their shows...(Vancouver '89, Calgary 06)

Yes this is the Ampeg "Dan Armstrong" prototype that was given to Keith before the 69 tour. This guitar was actually stolen along with a bunch of others he had at his home called Redlands. Ampeg gave him another one later but Keith never used it because he said it was not even close to sounding as good as the original.
Wrong this is from MSG, not the London shows

@k2tree I was at this show at MSG. Laughed as Mick said "Charlie's good tonight, isn't he?"...then, when Ya-Yas came out, was ecstatic they used this show for the live album. Opening acts: Terry Reid then Ike and Tina. During the break, my friend John and I worked our way to the end where seats behind the stage were cordoned off. We snuck to the rail and saw the Stones walking up to the flap in the curtain, ready to hit the stage. We said Hi ...they waved. The cops came and chased us away.
