  • i bought one and had it on my xd for about two months before i shot it. it was the most accurate laser i've used but when i took it home it stoped working!?!?! and the light on the back keeps blinking!? not sure if its broke or the batteries are dead.......wtf.....someone please help

  • the rear sight is a bitch to remove even with the tools. The laser sight itself is non intrusive for my paddle holster. I ended up repainting the original white dots with fluorescent paint

  • crap! mine broke as soon as i got it......NEVER GOT AN EMAIL BACK!!!!

  • I just ordered one of these and wondering... how hard to remove the old sight from a springfield xd? Most of the complain about this seem to be personal preference though, or not using loctite. Things coming loose, aim changing, etc, should be fine if you set it up right as some have noted. As far as control goes, It seems like you just need to get used to it. Seems very easy. If you really need to shoot fast you won't really have time to "sight" anyway. Should be more for longer distances.

  • @keithgriner

After reading your post I watched the shooting part again. You are correct, that is really bad. It's a good way to get your skin pinched. I assume that's why the laser was moving all over the place, I didn't understand why at first.

  • Sure, install it yourself, just don't ding your gun like this numbnuts does @1:18!

  • NICE PRODUCT, BUT Whoever the shooter is needs to learn the proper grip...That's dangerous!

  • @DoworkLT I have this on my Springfield XD SC and it is very easy to turn on with my draw of the gun. A little practice and it's like second nature to activate while reaching for my XD. I use a IWB Crossbreed holster and have no problem. Shoot me a PM if you have any questions. I have had my RSL-XD for over a year with no problems..

  • @DoworkLT Disregard, I checked the website. I'll respectfully pass on a $200.00 sight that doesn't turn on when I take a combat grip on the gun in the most desperate of times. Best of luck.

  • Could you direct me to a video showing how the laser is activated on the draw in the real threat situation. If that button on the site is the ONLY way to turn this on then it's too late.
